Assembly was easy, we bought 2 bikes and they’re great. Plenty of speed and power. Riders between 175-200lbs and it takes off no sweat. Only issue is that the battery in the black bike doesn’t fit as snuggly as the white bike and will need a small shim so it doesn’t rattle. Still very happy.
The seagull was delivered quickly (two days). It was packaged well and very easy to assemble. I have only rode the bike once and it seems very powerful and so far trouble free. If you purchase this bike get the fender and rear rack. They are well worth it. I purchased this bike because at this price point Ecotric made the only 1000 watt motor, 48volt battery with hydraulic brakes.

I purchased a Ecotric 20" fat tire three years ago for my 65th birthday. After putting over 5,000 miles on my fat tire I decided I wanted to upgrade and chose the Seagull. Like the fat tire before it, it's a great bike! I live in the Sierra foothills, so I have a lot of steep inclines to deal with. Although the fat tire handled the inclines, it took a lot of effort. The Seagull handles them with ease. I highly recommend the Seagull.
