Bought these for Christmas gifts for the kids (10 and 9), and they have had a great time on them. Fast enough so that they feel like they are going fast, but not too fast where they are out of control. So age appropriate. Battery lasts approx. 30 min, which is good for the price paid (will run out faster with my larger kid and on the uphill, but still lasts a while). overall a good purchase.
It was a gift for my 8 yr old son. He really enjoyed this summer with his new E scooter.

This is a nice Scooter but what I will say that if your kid is still learning how to ride a bike, this maybe a little advanced. My kid is 8 years old, only shows partial interest in riding bikes, I thought an electric scooter might be an alternative, the problem that I see that it's not really variable speeds. It's either 0 miles per hour or it's Max speed. If you have a kid like mine, then you need to buy all of the protective gear because they'll fall off on this.
Bought this E90 electric scooter for my daughter's 8 birthday and she loved it so much! 10 mph is great for so much fun plus the battery life that last longer. Assembly is super easy. A+ Electric Scooter.
