I looked at a few different brands/models and decided to go with the Ecotric Vortex. It’s a great mix of value and fun. I find the 350 watt motor plenty fast for me (but I don’t have a lot of hills). I watched the how-to video to assemble the handlebar and front wheel. The bike arrived within 5 days of ordering. I added my own padded spring seat for a little more cushion.
Excellent Ebike its at a very good price , and it has very good range and you also have the normal pedal mode so its a great purchase
At age 62 and more than a little out of shape, I decided to take up cycling again for fitness and pleasure. I could not be happier with my choice of the Vortex model. Easy to assemble (95% is done right out of the box), easier to ride, the attention to detail and craftsmanship are readily apparent immediately. Do yourself a favor and buy this bike before they come to their senses and starts charging what it's actually worth!
I've only had the bike a couple of weeks so I can't give a hugely detailed review. Pluses: overall solid quality and very easy assembly. Works well as a casual, fun ride around town ebike. Handles trails fine. I like the simple design and rigid fork. Plus without the battery attached, the bike is fairly easy to lift into my truck. Criticisms: quick release seat clamp would not tighten enough. I bought a bolt on clamp and still had to use a shim to get my seat post to stay in place. Front wheel doesn't have a quick release skewer, I replaced with a quick release skewer. I used metal pedals I had already, as the stock pedals are big and clunky. For the price, modifications or normal and minimal. Overall, I'm enjoying the Vortex.
Got the bike came with almost fully assembled, just put on the seat, front wheel and the handle, that all it takes. Already rides up to 500 miles and there is no problem came up.
The battery can last up to 40 miles on full charge on Medium speed, at 17 miles/hour, it rides up to 20 miles/ hour on max speed. It takes 6 hour to get the battery full charged.
Highly recommended this ebike.
