Simple put you cannot beat the quality, value and price for this bike. Very easy to assemble and a lot of fun to ride. I now exercise more because it’s fun and not a chore as other types of exercise have become. I recommend it highly!
I have been using an ebike for the past 5 years to get up and down the very steep hill to surf at Black's beach in La Jolla, Ca. My previous bike had skinny tires, so I couldn't ride it on the beach, but it got up the hill without a lot of effort. It needed a new controller, but the company was out of business and parts were unavailable. The first time I rode the ecotric up the hill, it was a bit disappointing, I had to work a lot harder on the steepest sections than with my previous bike, but it worked great on the soft sand. I took it to a local bike store and had them put in a different sprocket with a lower gear. Total cost for the sprocket, new derailleur and lengthening the chain was under $100, but I figured I am still money ahead as most other comparable bikes were at least $1,500. The fold down handlebars are key to putting it in my truck. I highly recommend this bike.
